Its here! The final day for registering for Dream Italia’s Win a Dream Trip for Two to Italy. The contest registration expires today, May 31, 2006, at midnight. Our lucky winner and friend will accompany Dream Italia’s group on the Castles & Vineyards Tour September 23-30, 2006.

I personally want to thank you for the many wonderful Italian stories and experiences you shared with us over the past year. Each and every one gave us pleasure and made us reminisce and long for the next trip.

The winner will be drawn soon and we will announce the name on June 15, 2006 in Westword Newspaper, KUVO radio and an “Extra” edition of our newsletter.

In fact, Colorado's Western Slope is considered one of the best climates for growing sangiovese grapes. Balistreri Vineyards 2004 Sangiovese comes from the Orchard Mesa Vineyard, above Palisade, Colorado. This delicious sangiovese is bright and lively, with delicate flavors of black cherries, finishing with light crisp tannins. An enjoyable light bodied summer red. It pairs very well with fish or chicken dishes and is great with many different pizza and pasta dishes.
