Here at Dream Italia we are gearing up for a summer full of fun in Denver. We are participating in 2 events this coming weekend, June 23-24, and invite you to join in the fun. Come see the artists at La Piazza dell'Arte, an Italian sidewalk art gallery in Larimer Square. On Sunday come on down to the 1st Annual LoDo Flower Market.

On July 14th, Dream Italia is proud to be a sponsor of jazz89 KUVO's Signature Fundraising Event, Jazz at the Vineyard, featuring singer Hazel Miller, at the Balistreri Vineyard. Join us for an evening of jazz under the stars, with food by Rialto Café and wines by Balistreri. You will have the chance to purchase the limited edition KUVO/Hazel Miller signature wine at the event.

La Piazza dell'Arte at Larimer Square

More than 250 professional, amateur and student artists will descend on Larimer Square to transform the area into a bright and colorful street museum during the 5th annual Comcast La Piazza dell'Arte ("the square of art"). Over the course of two days, Larimer Square will come to life for this fantastic celebration of a classic Italian art form when artists take to the street armed with vivid pastel chalks and spend hours on their hands and knees recreating major masterpieces. By the end of the event, intricate chalk paintings will cover three downtown blocks of pavement along Larimer Square with subjects ranging from master-style works to modern images and surreal chalk creations. Visitors will be captivated as they watch the pieces come to life while having the rare opportunity to interact with the artists as they work. Italian music, food, a wine and art pavilion, and beverages will complement the visual feast.

Hosted by Friends of Union Station, the theme of the event is urban living and small space gardening. If you live in the City or only have a small outdoor space, enhance your residence with flowers and discover new ways to grow all kinds of plants and vegetables in containers on patios and balconies.

Distinguished urban vendors participating in the Flower Market include: Banisters Flowers, Bouquets, City Floral Greenhouse, Country Fair Garden Center, Denver Botanic Gardens, The Perfect Petal, Ryburn Davis Floral, Sunscapes Rare Plant Nursery, Tattered Cover, Amato of Denver, Wild Bird Center, The Oxford Club Spa, as well as local artists selling handcrafted pottery, nature photography and more. Columbine Design, Inc. will be there to talk to you about patio or balcony design.

Festivities will include performing buskers, a classical music quartet, and a drawing at the Oxford Club Spa booth for a fabulous September 2007 Dream Italia "Tour of Tuscany"!

The KUVO Signature Events kicks off this year with Jazz at the Vineyard! Join us for a very special evening at Balistreri Vineyards on Saturday, July 14th! You'll be introduced to the new 2007 KUVO Signature Wine; you'll sample the wines from Balistreri Vineyards, and enjoy culinary delights provided by Rialto Cafe - Food with Spirit!

It's an evening that presents the very jazzy side of Hazel Miller! PLUS, a limited edition of a Hazel Miller Wine Bottles will be auctioned along with her CD ICONS.
