...contemplate how passionate the Italian people are about everything they experience in life, it leaves no doubt for me as to why there is so much beauty around every bend in Italy. Every sense; sight, sound, smell, touch and taste must be rewarded and appreciated. To feel the sight of a centuries old hilltop village, to feel the smell of the ocean, to feel the touch of cobblestones beneath your feet, to feel the sound of the church bell ringing, or to feel the taste of fresh melon explode on your tongue evokes passion for life. To understand this is to understand the sensuality of Italian life.
